Microneedling has shown high effectiveness in various studies.
The skin is targeted with sterile needles to inflict minute injuries.
– 1. regeneration of skin cells is stimulated
– 2. blood circulation is increased
– 3. elastin & collagen synthesis is increased
– 4. active ingredients enter deep into the skin
Over time, the skin’s own regeneration becomes slower and slower and the synthesis of collagen and elastin decreases. That is why the skin of older people also looks completely different from that of young people. This is exactly where microneedling comes in: The targeted, safe micro-injuries to the skin awaken the body’s own repair mechanism. Collagen and elastin are synthesized again in greater quantities.
The small pinpricks act like channels through which the active ingredients of serums reach exactly where they are needed. The effect is thus increased by up to 10 times.
Unlike many other cosmetic industry promises, microneedling has real evidence of effectiveness in the form of studies. Here is a small excerpt:
With BB Glow, color pigments are semi-permanently applied into the skin using a nano-needle cartridge with the Dermapen.
Beforehand, a hyaluronic acid serum is applied to plump up and moisturize the skin. The entire treatment includes a total of 8 steps and is completely painless.
Unlike microneedling, you are immediately socially acceptable afterwards. This gives the skin an even tone, like an Instagram filter.
Pores appear smaller, you conceal red spots, blemishes and hyperpigmentation. The skin immediately looks fresher and more refreshed.
Select needle cartridge
Select the appropriate needle cartridge for your planned treatment. You can find out which needle cartridge is the right in our Needle cartridge overview.
Cleaning the face
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap. Shake the bottle of BB Shine – Step 1 Cleansing Gel well to spread the microsilver. Put a generous amount of cleansing gel in one hand, spread the gel between your hands, and then apply it evenly to your face using circular motions. Now take a compress, a clean small towel or a clean cleaning sponge. Soak it with warm water and remove the cleansing gel.
If there are still residues such as make-up or dirt particles on the skin, repeat the process.
Enzyme peeling
Take a pump of the BB Shine – Step 2 Enzyme Peelings and spread it evenly over your face in a circular motion. Spare the lips and eye area. The Enzyme Peeling should be left on for 15 minutes. In case you have a steamer,
you can use this to enhance the effect of the enzyme peeling.
Now take again a compress, a clean small towel or a clean cleaning sponge. Remove the Enzyme Peeling with it.
Skin Primer
Soak two cotton pads generously with the
BB Shine – Step 3 Skin Primer
and sweep over the face in parallel motions. Spare the mouth and eye area. The Skin Primer does not need to be removed and dries on the skin.
Serum
Drizzle 2-3 drops of the active ingredient on the first area.
Important: Do not immediately spray the entire treatment area; this is counterproductive, especially for larger areas. Otherwise, the serum will be absorbed elsewhere, even though you have not yet finished needling the first area.
Dermapen
Now go with the
Dermapen
in the appropriate speed level and penetration depth over the first lot. While doing this, make small, circular and brisk movements. Do not apply any additional pressure. Go over the same spot a total of 5x.
So the order is always as follows:
1. drizzle skin area with serum.
2. needle skin area.
3. drizzle the next area with serum.
4. needle the new area.
Important: Do not simply continue needling to the next area of skin, but set the Dermapen down between each zone and then reposition it.
Apply Madecassoside sheet mask
Take the Madecassoside mask from the package and place it on your face starting from the nose. Now press the mask against your skin from the center of your face outwards. You can apply the remaining ingredients that are left in the package to your neck and décolleté. Leave the mask on for 15 minutes. If the mask active ingredient is not completely absorbed, you can work it in with light pressure movements.
Optional: Put on LED mask
Set the BB Shine Premium LED Mask to the desired light color and put the LED mask on the cloth mask. Leave this to work for 15 minutes together with the sheet mask. Take them off afterwards.
Ectoin & Aloe Vera Gel
Put a pump of the BB Shine – Step 7 Ectoin & Aloe Vera Gels on one hand, spread the gel between the fingers of both hands and gently press it into the skin.
Apply Hyaluronic Routine Cream
Put a pump of the BB Shine – Step 8 Hyaluronic Routine Cream on one hand, spread the cream between the fingers of both hands and gently press it into the skin.
