Notes on battery disposal<\/strong><\/p>\n

In connection with the sale of batteries or the supply of equipment containing batteries, we are obliged to inform you of the following:<\/span><\/p>\n

You are legally obligated to return used batteries as an end user. You can return used batteries that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our product range, even if they were only a component of a device, free of charge to our shipping warehouse (shipping address). The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning:<\/span><\/p>\n

The symbol of the crossed-out garbage can means that the battery must not be placed in the household garbage.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pb = battery contains more than 0.004 mass percent lead<\/span>
\nCd = battery contains more than 0.002 mass percent<\/span>
\nCadmium Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005% mercury by mass.<\/span><\/p>\n

Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The symbol for separate collection of electrical and electronic equipment represents a crossed-out wheeled garbage can. The disposal of these electrical devices in household waste is prohibited according to the ElektroG (Law on the marketing, return and environmentally sound disposal of electrical and electronic equipment)! As a consumer, you are obligated to dispose of your waste via the local collection and return systems of the municipality. Consumers can drop off their waste electrical equipment free of charge at one of the municipal collection points. Information on the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act can be found on the website of the Federal Ministry for the Environment under the heading Waste: www.bmu.de<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
